Studio

Variant is a multidisciplinary design studio based in London and Riga.

Arthur Analts is Latvian born artist and designer, currently living and working in London. After studying sculpture in Riga Arthur moved to London where he completed the degree in the prestigious Central Saint Martins University. Analts work takes a critical view of political, cultural and environmental issues. His focus is on contemporary art with strong research and high-added emotional value to each project. Innovative experimentation across materials, technology, production and scale are key drivers. While working in various media, Arthur’s methodology is consistent – the subject matter of each body of work determines the material and the form of the work. Being only at the beginning of his career Analts work is direct and emotionally rich. Arthur Analts work is in permanent collection of Latvian Museum of Decorative Arts and Design and several private collections in Europe. Analts most recent exhibitions includes London Design Biennale in Somerset House, United Kingdom, Atelier Lachaert Dhanis, Tielrode, Belgium and Royal Academy of Arts, London, United Kingdom.

Our clients are from sectors such as furniture/production, arts/culture, fashion/lifestyle, science/technology, innovation/sustainability, as well as people who have interest in collaboration and passion in innovation.

Variant Studio is currently working on several projects, including work for clients, competitions and self-initiated designs.
